Juan Osborne logo

New logo and visual identity.

Juan Osborne is a friend, an architect, a designer and a digital artist. We met during a project we carried out together. I was looking for new ideas for an advertising campaign and suddenly… wow! I came across Juan’s website. He’s specialized in digital portraits composed of words. His works are truly a source of inspiration and I invite you all to visit his website.

The logo visually represents the essence of Juan as an artist, reflecting his distinctive technique of creating portraits from words. Just like Juan creates typographic portraits with hundreds of words, for his logo the idea is to create his portrait with just the letters of his name. Less is more…

Juan once wrote: “One of the greatest things of running this website is the people I’m meeting and the friends I’m making. One of those is Marco Marabotto, a great Italian graphic designer. We worked together in a project (hope I could show it to you soon) and shared our skills in a exciting collaborative experience.

At the end Marco come to me with a gift. He built my portrait using the letters of my name. I was petrified… with only a few letters he did something so minimal and awesome that I’m going to use it as my new logo. It was some kind of lesson… seeing this I feel I hide my lack of talent under complexity.

Marco, Thank you very much!!!”

Thanks to you Juan for your enthusiasm and the originality of your work, great sources of inspiration!
